Contact Molding Process
Liquid gelcoat is sprayed into the mold
Fiber layers are placed in the mold and impregnated with resin
The fiber layers are compacted and de-aired using rollers to ensure proper impregnation and conformity to the mold surface
A chemical reaction converts the resin
from a liquid to a solid state
The finished part is removed from the mold
